Manny Pacquiao Wins!

Congratulations to Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao!

It lasted for 12 rounds of boring (some says it) fight,actually the event was good and above average, but that is the reality in sports you have to deal with, even champions can not always win with a knockout.

Its just that, Clottey didn't gave his best to try and win over Pacquiao. Which that made the game one-sided. He always defended himself, intimidated by the rapid punches of Pacquiao. And Afraid to be knocked out but still admitted that he lost a REAL Fight to Manny!

The game plan:

Clottey's game plan was to make Pacquiao want him, surely it was! Pacquiao make him as his practice punching bag in the ring as Clottey showed only his defensive mode most if not all time during the fight. Clottey's coach and trainer Lenny de Jesus (a substitute trainer due to non-issuance of US visa to Clottey's Ghanian coach) always want him [Clottey] to take the chance and opportunity of giving a fight back to Pacquiao, but he was out-punched and that make him hid back in his turtle-shell for protection and don't take any risk or even tried hard enough.

On the other hand, Pacquiao showed his lightning speed again in boxing arena. Gave Clottey body-shots, jabs, combination of punches from the body to head, though not enough to knock the close guarded Clottey, but for sure it hurts, really! At the end of the fight, Pacquiao had a total of 1231 punches thrown with 20% (246) of it was counted to land.
That was way too much to take...

And thank Joshua Clottey, we can again watch and be entertained by the Ring Magazine's 2009 fighter of the year: Manny Pacquiao. Whoever wins the fight, for sure, It will be a good fight and very interesting.

The BIG FIGHT! Pacquiao VS Clottey

It's now official! Manny Pacquiao will fight in the boxing ring again this March 13 2010, the date that was supposedly assigned to Pacquiao Vs Mayweather.



Fortunately or unfortunately, Mayweather won't fight Pacquiao, but the #1 contender in World Welterweight division Joshua Clottey will! So, the only sure thing is that, we can see Manny Pacquiao fight again in the ring.

Hard physical clash would be expected in this fight, as the two fighters had promised to prepare and fight in their best for this big event that would be staged at Dallas Cowboys stadium.
